IHOP 266 observations of south plume pole on 8-Feb-2017This observation was at the south pole limb. The movie shows
that a bright 171 plume develops exactly at the EIS slit position! The bright point is only just seen at the top of the slit in Fe XII 195.
EIS observationsEIS ran four Cool_loop_stare rasters consecutively from 12:37 to 16:30 UT. The image below shows the time sequence for Fe IX 197.86, showing the brightening of the plume (although it's not a strong effect in this data).
